The move strengthens Prosero’s presence in eastern Germany and contributes competence in advanced security solutions for industry, the public sector, and critical infrastructure.
Becker Sicherheitstechnik was founded in 1985 and employs 18 persons. The company offers electronic and mechanical lock systems, access-control systems, entrance automation, and security solutions for evacuation routes.
Through substantial technical competence and close collaboration with customers, Becker Sicherheitstechnik has established a strong position in the region. Customers include hospitals, the judiciary, and other public institutions, as well as trade and industry firms. The company possesses special expertise in the installation and maintenance of complex, network-based electromechanical locking systems.
“Becker Sicherheitstechnik is a well-maintained company with significant technical competence and longstanding customer relationships. Their experience in advanced locking and access-control systems, and in protection of essential services, is a great fit for our offering. In addition, with the offices in Dessau-Roßlau and Wittenberg, we’re bolstering our geographical presence in eastern Germany, and we’re creating more opportunities for cooperation among our branches,” says Gerrit Fleischer, Country Manager DACH for Prosero Security.
Becker Sicherheitstechnik has been led by Uwe Becker together with Michael Richter and Dennis Krüger, the latter two having worked in the company for more than 10 years. In connection with the acquisition, Uwe Becker will step down from his operational role, but will remain as an adviser. Michael Richter and Dennis Krüger will assume leadership and continue with development of the branch.
“Since its start as a family-owned business, Becker Sicherheitstechnik has had customers’ needs and technological opportunities as the driving force in our development. We’re proud of this competence and the trust we’ve built over the years. Now, we see new opportunities in the growing need for protection of critical infrastructure. As part of Prosero, we’ll have access to a wider network of colleagues and specialists; this will strengthen our ability to develop our offering and fulfil the security needs of the future,” note Michael Richter and Dennis Krüger of Becker Sicherheitstechnik.
The acquisition is in line with Prosero’s strategy of building Europe’s leading security company by uniting strong local branches with the competence and resources of a large group.
