Vigilant in merger with BATM

Vigilant Technology have merged with BATM - pioneers in the design and manufacture of innovative high performance communications equipment - under a market extension initiative.

The merger will see Vigilant benefiting from BATM's highly integrated research and development programme and alongside additional planned investment in their resources, will significantly strengthen their position within their chosen territories around the world.

BATM Advanced Communications Limited is an industry leading developer and manufacturer of equipment used to manage, control and switch traffic over computer networks. Their products, used within the carrier and enterprise markets both for local and wide area networks, are designed to increase the rate, range and reliability of data transfer between computers and computing systems. Products include fibre optic networking, multi-service transport, access solutions and integrated IP voice, data and video services. With a current* market capitalisation of GBP 196.8 Million; BATM currently employ over 500 people across their offices worldwide and with the merger of Vigilant are now delighted to add a UK arm to their already global organisation.
