Simonsvoss secures the keyless world at Essen

Essen, Germany

Simonsvoss is a prominent pioneer of the keyless world and designed with intelligent features, pleasing aesthetics and easy to manage technology, the company will be showing its latest innovations in Essen.

At the show, due to take place at the end of September in Essen, Germany, Simonsvoss will be presenting the digital Smarthandle 3062 with its Doormonitoring function – and the universal control unit Smartrelay 3 3063 Advanced. Further highlights at the trade fair will be the intelligent SME solution Mobile Key as an online variant and the very latest developments from the integrated access control product Smartintego.

The latest addition to the locking and access control system 3060 is the digital Smarthandle 3062 with Doormonitoring function. This elegant and ergonomically designed door fitting can manage access and access authorisations for up to 64,000 users – and the new Doormonitoring function turns it into an ultra-compact monitoring system. Three integrated sensors constantly check the status of the door and report their results in realtime to the access control system. This way, there is never a doubt about as to whether a door is opened or closed, locked or unlocked. The fitting reports any exceeded time limits or forced opening of the door. Installation is very easy: No cables, no drilling, no exchanging locks. The integrated button cells for power supply last approx. ten years, which is equivalent to about 150,000 locking actions.

In addition, networked locking for all is what the new Simonsvoss SmartRelay generation has to offer. With the new high-performance gateway function, Smartrelay 3 3063 Advanced makes it possible to establish a virtual connection to all locks within a building. In practice, this means a significant increase in terms of comfort and cost saving: The user no longer needs to link each individual locking device to the central control centre by means of a router. All locking devices can be connected to one virtual network. Authorisations for transponders or cards are activated, updated or deactivated at the high-performance gateway – the user obtains full control of their locking devices.

Smartrelay 3 3063 – Advanced consists of a controller and a reader. Up to three external readers can be connected. They can be operated with active and passive media (transponders as well as Mifare Desfire and Mifare Plus. With this system, all Simonsvoss offline locking devices can be connected virtually. In connection with the Smart Output module, technical devices and systems, such as elevators, machines, locker systems, etc. can be integrated within the network.
