Pixim hires industry expert to manage worldwide channel programs

Mountain View, California

Pixim Inc., a leading provider of image capture technology for enterprise security cameras, announce that it has hired industry veteran Jennifer Martin for the newly created position of manager, worldwide channel programs.

Martin most recently was vice president of vendor technology & education for PSA Security Network, where she was responsible for managing channel and educational programs for PSA vendors and integrators. PSA is the world's largest electronic security cooperative, whose members are responsible for over USD 1.8 billion of annual electronic security and life safety installations.

"We are delighted that a person of Jennifer's high caliber is joining Pixim during an accelerated growth phase of our company," said John Monti, vice president of marketing and business development, Pixim. "Jennifer has strong real-world experience in video technology and the security market - and she understands the importance of differentiating products for the channel. She will be a tremendous asset to Pixim in achieving our long-term growth goals."

"It is extremely exciting to be working with a company as innovative and well positioned as Pixim," said Martin. "In my new role, I'll have the chance to promote a brand I'm familiar with and respect greatly. The market has already validated Pixim's differentiated technology with broad deployment worldwide, but I'm convinced that focused attention on channel programs will help propel Pixim to even greater levels of success."

Martin's 30+ years of experience in the security industry has translated into a successful track record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. She joined PSA Security Network as vice president of vendor technology & education in 2004, where she was responsible for researching new technologies with an eye toward development of application- and solution-oriented partnerships, vertical market strategies, and preparation of members for participation in new technology projects. From 1996-1999 she also worked for PSA, that time as director of marketing for the 200-member international security cooperative.

Between her stints at PSA, Martin was co-owner of Hanna Martin, which represented manufacturers of complex video, electronic and software-based security products throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Earlier in her career, she served as CEO of LRC Electronics, a repair, training and consulting center for electronic security and CCTV systems. From 1976 to 1993 she co-owned Intermountain Marketing, where she served as vice president of sales. Intermountain Marketing specialized in sales, technical support, training and systems design of industrial electronic and video security products for top security industry manufacturers.

Martin pursued her secondary education at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and later studied criminal justice and legal/public policy at the University of Colorado at Denver. She serves as a member of the New Product Showcase and Education committees of the Security Industry Association (SIA), and she is a New Product Showcase judge for the SIA and a Technology Product Showcase judge for The Security Network.
