On the Hikvision stand, an IPS technology partner, IPS will present a brand new application to the visitors, which combines IPS video analytics with Hikvsion’s new camera-based platform HEOP (Hikvision Embedded Open Platform). A total of five different video analytics modules will be available as plug-ins for Hikvision cameras with the launch of the new HEOP later this year. They provide the user with real-time alerts about various events, such as activity, sabotage or intrusion.

The configuration of the software is highly intuitive and takes just a few steps, thanks to the IPS Webconfigurator, which is designed especially for camera-based analytics. "After the announcement of our technology partnership at the last security fair, we are now delighted to present the first intelligent products for the HEOP as Hikvision‘s partner for video analytics. Our state-of-the-art and intelligent IPS video analytics in combination with the powerful innovative Hikvision cameras will offer huge added value to our partners’ and customers’ projects“, says IPS director Peter Treutler.

This year again, IPS will present the IPS Analyticsmanager on the Milestone booth. The webbased platform for the easy integration of IPS video analytics into Milestone’s VMS Xprotect and other third-party-systems enables users to add extra intelligence to their video surveillance systems. Eight different analytics modules can be integrated, among them IPS Intrusion Detection, IPS Privacy Protection for blurring of sensitive areas and IPS Public Transport Protection for track bed detection at train stations. IPS plans to integrate further IPS analytics modules into the IPS Analyticsmanager in the future.
