Global Security Asia organisers confirm 2013 dates

Singapore

The organisers of Global Security Asia have confirmed that the fifth edition of the show will take place from the 2nd to the 4th April 2013, at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore.
Global Security Asia is considered to be the premier International Exhibition and Conference in the Asia Pacific region focusing exclusively on counter terrorism, security and law enforcement. The event addresses fundamental issues of global terrorism and internal state security and presents a unique opportunity for Governments, Agencies and Security Professionals to meet, discuss and evaluate the latest state of the art technologies, equipment and systems that are available to meet current and future threats to a Nation's sovereignty, infrastructure and public security.

Over 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries are expected to participate at GSA 2013. Being the premier Counter Terrorism and Security Event in the Asia Pacific Region the organisers believe it enjoys the status of a "must-attend" show and traditionally attracts a large number of high-level VIP delegations and key decision makers from the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Counter terrorism and security is a vast, dynamic and ever-changing marketplace. The ever-present and continually evolving threats to national security necessitate a commensurate technologically-based effort to combat such activities as terrorism, cyber-attack, piracy and natural disasters. According to show organisers, GSA Exhibitions Private Limited (GSAL), over the forecast period of 2010-2020, the cumulative counter terrorism and security market will total nearly $2.7 trillion.
