VSK electronics launched their first analogue Fire detection panel in 1987, one of the first addressable fire panels on the Belgian market at that time. Since the start it supported the protocol of the well known high quality Hochiki detectors.
VSK electronics are now announcing the launch of their new and innovative generation of Fire detection panels: FALCONnet
The VSK R&D team focused for its new FALCONnet Fire panel on ease of installation, ease of use, integration in the overall security system and IP connectivity.
A FALCONnet fire detection system is made up of a 4 loop fire detection panel with a total capacity of 508 detectors, call points or field devices and a control panel with large touch screen called CIE (Control Indicating Equipment)
The Control Indicating equipment with large versatile touch screen display and system status LEDs is designed to be placed in the reception hall or near the security guard. A perfect design that is well accepted by architects. No large and ugly casings in income halls anymore.
The 19 inch panel with the cabling for detectors can be installed in the best suitable location of the buildings. This means a reduction of installation cost for the installer and a nice looking integration for the end user.
Both components, CIE and fire detection panel, are connected over the full redundant communication loop "FALCONnet". Up to 64 devices can be networked to form a single system for large sites.
The flexible design and comprehensive communication possibilities allow FALCONnet to act as a global fire detection system for any type of building.
The FALCONnet is equiped with native Ethernet connection and pluggable modem for backup communication.
Two serial multi-protocol ports allow to meet
- the German VdS standards for communication with "Feuerwehr Bedienfeld "and "Feuerwehr Anzeige"tableau and
- the french"NF" standard for communication with the CMSI
All VSK security panels provide native IP connectivity for integration over LAN / WAN infrastructures and are designed in accordance with the European security and quality standards .
Total management and graphical display of alarms and events with complete video integration is possible with the VSKwin management software.
