The Hunt explosion-proof IP camera features PoE (Power over Ethernet), network connectivity and compression in MJPEG, H.264, H.265 encoding. By using the Sony Starvis image solution with T-WDR technology, the explosion-proof IP camera maintains effective video quality at all times, even under harsh environmental circumstances. Hunt say the camera is also compatible with the Onvif Profile S protocol.
The explosion-proof camera housing is made of stainless steel AISI 316L with Anti-corrosion (NEMA 4X) housing and IK-10 vandal-proof rating. This range of IP cameras are waterproof to meet the IP68 & IP69 standards. The wide operating temperatures range from -40 ͦ C to 70 ͦ C.
There are three models in the series. The HLZ-62KDS is equipped with a 30X optical zoom/auto focus lens, and the HLZ-61KDS is in a smaller housing with a 4.2X optical zoom/auto focus lens built-in. Finally, the HLC-61KCT employs a thermal sensor with advanced human and fire detection embedded.
These explosion-proof IP cameras have also acquired several international explosion-proof certificates: ATEX and IECEx. This range of products and their factory have been certified in compliance to IEC60079, EN60079, Directive 2014/34/EU according to Hunt.
