They also help visually inspect and verify functions and processes are running correctly, and even providing remote assistance with planned maintenance.

Typical applications for the pan/tilt XP40-Q1942 explosion-protected PT thermal network camera include detection of people in restricted areas and safety of personnel in hazardous areas. In addition, XP40-Q1942 supports Axis’ Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Zipstream technologies. EIS improves video quality in situations where a camera is subject to vibrations, providing smooth and comfortable live viewing while Axis’ Zipstream lowers the bandwidth and storage requirements.
