Aver launches 3MP box-camera with true WDR

Taipei, Taiwan

Aver has launched its first 3-megapixel IP camera – FX3000-R network camera, strengthening Aver's comprehensive surveillance solution by streaming images at resolutions exceeding full HD1080p and deftly handling complicated lighting environments via true WDR technology.
The camera’s 3-megapixel camera sensor allows for high definition image capturing up to QXGA resolution (2048 x 1536), making it easier to observe fine details. True WDR, Aver’s all-new sensor-based wide dynamic range (WDR) technology currently available exclusively with the FX3000-R, effectively manages intense glare, harsh backlighting and similarly challenging lighting conditions to capture every object clearly. The region of interest (ROI) and smart stream functions available on the FX3000-R and other select Aver IP cameras allow security staff to achieve smart bandwidth / storage optimisation through targeted image capturing, while plug and play support provides for hassle-free integration with Aver HD NVRs and hybrid DVRs. FX3000-R also comes equipped with a mechanical IR-cut filter for excellent day and night visibility and is EN50130-4 certified, ensuring high surge and electro-thermal resistance.

With a number of new IP cameras, HD NVRs, hybrid DVRs and software scheduled for release in 2013, Aver has formed a specialist project team of business development managers and technical consultants to promote the unique benefits of the Aver surveillance solution. "The newly established project team will work hand in hand with our local distribution and system integration partners, employing their decades of combined experience to assist in the planning and execution of Aver IP surveillance solutions and realising the amazing growth potential therein," stated Andy Hsi, Vice President of Aver Information Inc.
