As Helvar's Premier Partner in Poland for almost a decade, HC Center has successfully built the Helvar brand into a recognised leader. This expertise has been proven in thousands of projects across Poland, improving well-being and sustainability by future-proofing key facilities in the commercial, educational, and healthcare sectors.

The acquisition of HC Center was initiated by its CEO, Dariusz Prekurat, following his decision to sell HC Center's lighting control business. He made the decision with the dream of a long-awaited retirement and free time to devote to his passions, such as playing the guitar and, it was with great sadness that the Helvar team learned of Dariusz's death in September, before the transfer had been completed. Helvar is determined to uphold his legacy and ensure the smooth continuation of the business he was dedicated to building. This decision ensures operational stability and strengthens the commitment to all customers, clients and stakeholders.

Helvar's operations in Poland will be led by Przemysław Skorupa, who has extensive experience and vision for the role. As a respected veteran of Helvar with 20 years in the lighting industry, he has spent 11 years overseeing the Polish market at Helvar and was a key person in the establishment of HC Center. Przemysław takes over the management of a strong team of professional employees, which has been successfully built and developed since 2018 under the leadership of Katarzyna Siuchnińska, who during this time has doubled the size of the team.

Merger of Helsinki and Warsaw creates Helvar
