Syac prepare for future developments

Modena, Italy

Italian company Syac have certainly been busy over the last 6 months, not only in the design of their video security products, but also with new partnerships and new premises for both production and R&D.
In November 2012 Syac became Syac TB, the Security Division of Techboard, a manufacturer of professional printed circuit boards since 1979 with factories in Modena and Shenzhen (China). By taking over the team and the activities of Syac, Techboard has combined the assets and abilities of two Italian SMEs in order to assure continuity to the Syac and Digieye brands, to their customers and systems all over the world.

In January 2013 Syac TB relocated its production from Trieste to Modena. With its head office and factory of over 4000 m2 entirely dedicated to production in Modena, Italy, and another one in Shenzhen, China, Techboard's manufacturing capabilities will allow to improve both the processes and the quality level of Syac’s systems.

Also in January Syac TB entered into a partnership with Elimos. Part of the Elimos management and development team built their know-how roots in Syac's R&D. Oriented on the centralisation and integration developments, this new collaboration will bring further expertise and capabilities to provide present and new customers with innovative products and solutions that are able to integrate the most recent technologies with the previous Digieye system generations.

In February the Syac Research & Development and the Technical & Commercial Support departments moved to the Trieste Area Science Park. The support team will continue to provide phone, on-line and on-site customer service, whereas the R&D team will remain focused on developing innovation thanks to important investments and this new collaboration with Elimos.

In March Syac launched 3H, the hybrid multifunctional digital video surveillance system. The Digieye Hybrid series with the integration of IP video management represents the natural evolution of the Digieye family. They summarise over 15 years of experience in the video security field inherited by prior Digieye generations and continuous improvements based on the market’s feedback. Digieye hybrid solutions allow the user to combine the benefits of integrating IP video technology with cost saving while migrating from current analogue to IP based systems.

Also in March the company launched its new catalogue and internet demo site, and they will soon be releasing their new HD-SDI technology.
