Grundig launches ultra-HD IR fisheye

Remscheid, Germany

Grundig new Ultra HD surveillance camera with fisheye lens and dewarping built-in

Ultra HD IR fisheye camera from Grundig

The new Grundig fisheye camera is based on Sony’s advanced 6MP CMOS sensor with Ambarella S2 digital signal processing. The camera, model number GCI-M0566F, has 360° panoramic and 180° viewing options in image resolutions of up to 6MP, 3072 x 2048p at 25FPS. It provides ultra-HD overview images of a site and is ideally suited to retail environments.

Grundig has included six IR LEDs in the design, a unique feature of the camera which enables Smart night-time illumination. True day / night functionality, with 0.2 / 0.02Lux sensitivity, delivers impressive low-light performance when IR illumination is overridden.

Despite its compact design, the Grundig Fisheye camera is packed with cutting edge technology. Built-in de-warping presents corrected video streams to NVR or VMS control and recording solutions. Further video stream options include 4MP at 25FPS or 2MP at 50FPS, with simultaneous quad video streams at lesser resolutions.

Digital pan, tilt and zoom control is enabled in live and playback modes. This enables users to zoom into overview images in more detail, after an event. Site coverage is achieved with fewer cameras making it a cost-effective CCTV solution.

Five rectangular privacy zones can be configured and video enhancement features include wide dynamic range (WDR), digital noise reduction (DNR) and back light compensation (BLC).

A built-in SD/SDHC memory slot is compatible with 64GB cards enabling alarm and scheduled recording. PoE, ONVIF Profile S integration, bi-directional audio and webserver access for smartphones (IOS and Android) and tablets are standard.

Grundig’s Fisheye camera can be ceiling or wall mounted with flip, mirror, vertical and rotational settings for optimal site positioning.
