Frozen goods business secured by Brickcom

Murcia, Spain

After a detailed survey and evaluation, the Ultracongelados Azarbe factory in Murcia, Spain recently chose the Brickcom VD-501Af vandal dome IP cameras for their new IP video surveillance system.
Ultracongelados Azarbe S.A., a major fruits and vegetables freezing factory founded in 1994 in the heart of Murcia, Spain, boasts its production volume of fifty thousand tons a year. It is dedicated to the quick-freezing of grilled vegetables, pre-fried vegetables, and Mediterranean produce, such as broccolli, peppers, peas, onions, artichokes, zucchini, celery, eggplants, etc. The great location, latest technologies, and experienced factory staff make it one of the leading brands in the European frozen food industry.

The plant management used to operate 16 analogue PTZ cameras to monitor the facility, but recently decided to switch to a high-megapixel IP surveillance system to achieve a higher level of visual access and control of the facilities. Through this new IP surveillance system, they want to centralise the control, operation and maintenance of the management system of all the plants.

The VD-501Af camera is capable of delivering full-HD video (1920x1080), or maximum 5 megapixel resolution video (2592x1944), offering great image detail to management staff during daytime and nighttime. What’s more, with such features as being weather-proof (IP66), vandal-proof (IK10), and with a built-in IR LED, the VD-501Af is highly suitable for the outdoor environment.

Since there are still some analog PTZ cameras in the plant, Waf Evolution Power designed an excellent hybrid solution to support both the analogue and IP cameras. With both the existing analogue CCTV cameras and the new IP cameras in place under control of the centralised management system, the synergy grants the plant staff a higher level of security control at a low switching cost, low maintenance cost, and smooth learning curve.
