The HIQ-6650 is an outdoor bullet camera equipped with a 1/2.6” CMOS sensor, a 3~10.5mm @F1.4 vari-focal lens and an all-IP architecture. The built-in open platform web server supports real time video via an internet browser and concurrent multiple user access.

It is capable of image compression in H.264 and/or MJPEG as an option and is able to output (max.) 8-megapixel resolution (3840x2160) in 4K ultra HD quality and in addition there are also multiple resolutions available to select:  1920*1080 / 1280*720 / 640*360. Under 4K ultra HD (at 3840*2160; 8-Megapixel), the HIQ-6650 supports quality images at a speed of 15 fps. Users can choose a suitable streaming format to meet different environmental conditions.

This bullet IP camera has 28 Units 5φ + 2 units high power, 850nM IR LEDs built in; this generates IR light radiation for up to 25 metres in distance to create clear images under bad ambient lighting conditions. Further, with digital wide dynamic range (D-WDR) technology, the HIQ-6650 performs effectively and consistently even under difficult lighting conditions. In particular, when a subject is standing in front of strong back lighting, the D-WDR uses different exposures, lowers the light contrast, and so allows the camera to produce clear images of the person as well as the surrounding objects.  By applying DNR technology, the HIQ-6650 removes image noise to not only achieve clearer images but also to reduce video file size for transmission and storage.

As with other Hiqview IP cameras, internet connectivity of the camera is easy. It is also includes support for PoE functionality to help save installation time and costs. The HIQ-6650 is bundled with Hiqview Vision, a powerful VMS software, capable of managing a surveillance system with up to 64 IP cameras.

The all weather bullet-style housing has an IP66 water- and dust-proof rating and is ideal for all indoor and outdoor applications where crystal-clear high resolution images and efficient performance are required, such as law enforcement applications, traffic intersections, airports, harbours, container yards, bus/train stations, and many more.
