Hikvision announces the release of a 2-megapixel CCD-based real-time network camera - the DS-2CD876BF - during ISC West 2010, which is held on March 24th to 26th in Las Vegas, USA.


The DS-2CD876BF 2-megapixel network camera delivers exquisite compressed video stream with a resolution of up to 1600x1200 in real time, using the latest H.264 video codec based on TI's high performance DaVinciT platform. This camera also supports the optional HDMI for high-definition video display up to 1080P resolution.

With a 1/1.8" SONY progressive scan CCD image sensor, the DS-2CD876BF 2-megapixel network camera can offer outstanding images with enhanced sensitivity in low-light scenarios, according to the company. In addition, the camera incorporates an advanced auto iris that selects the optimal iris position automatically, for excellent performance in various lighting conditions.

Local storage on SD/SDHC cards is supported for uninterrupted recording even during Internet failure, effectively preventing video data loss. With dual stream, the camera allows remote video preview and mobile phone monitoring using sub-stream with minimal bandwidth occupation. The DS-2CD876BF 2-megapixel network camera also supports motion detection, day & night auto switch, auto electronic shutter control and voice talk, etc.
