Initially previewed at Ifsec, the software received great acclaim, with a number of visitors declaring it to be the best new solution of the show. Qulu can also be downloaded as a free 30 day trial, allowing users to explore and discover how simple and quick to install it is, as well as how it can revolutionise the way live and recorded video can be interrogated.

Qulu offers users a one off payment system for recording licenses, so there are no base licenses, hidden fees or recurring annual costs; just buy one license for every camera required.  It supports 3rd party cameras, including fisheyes meaning it is not limited by cameras that only work with a given software.  There is also support for Windows, Linux and Apple Mac operating systems, allowing users to select the operating system they are most comfortable with.  The user can select multiple regions of interest and view all scenes simultaneously providing interrogation of both live and recorded video.  The quick and simple search function enables users to search intelligently by highlighting an area on screen – Qulu will display any motion events in that area.

In addition the product is delivered with small, easily downloadable software packages, allowing for Qulu to be up and running before many other VMS packages have even downloaded.
