This 12VDC/24VAC surveillance camera eliminates the need to carry a separate inventory of lenses or mounting brackets, and installs without a drill or screwdriver, allowing for the fastest and safest installation possible.

It mounts virtually anywhere, vertically or horizontally. Integrated industrial grade locking screws make it easy to position or reposition the camera. It is also easy to set & lock the focus & zoom thumbscrews. Since they are rugged metal, even the largest installer fingers can quickly set up the view.

The solid metal housing is rugged and its aesthetic white colour blends in well with most ceilings. The camera's integrated mounting bracket allows for total flexibility, as it enables fast and easy mounting to a wide range of ceiling support designs - trusses, beams, unistrut, standard red iron, etc and no drilling is ever needed. Whether installed vertically or horizontally the mount allows for tool-free rotation adjustment along both vertical and horizontal axis. The surveillance camera has an externally adjustable wide angle to telephoto lens which provides maximum coverage with minimum hands-on adjustment. It eliminates the need to hang pipes and pendants near the target scene since the camera’s long focal length lens can capture high quality images at a long distance.

They needed to reduce costs through simplification. Having a single inventory item that can be used in multiple environments met that requirement. Videology's principal engineer, Bob Mansfield, continues: "Our solution was to put a 1/3" format varifocal externally adjustable megapixel lens onto our 540TVL 1/3" CCD color board. We encapsulated camera and lens inside an industrial-grade metal bullet housing and designed an integrated, hassle-free mount with a 3-axis pivot."
