A traditional network video recorder, or NVR, is an IP-based recorder that operates independently from a PC or other operating systems. Varifo' s NVR helps users to build a high-efficiency surveillance system, featuring simultaneous recording, monitoring and video data management through the internet. The latest release, VR6100-32, 32ch Linux-embedded NVR, supports recording resolutions of up to 5 megapixels.
The VR6100-32 has been developed as a response to the high level requirements from markets and users. It is designed to accommodate a maximum of up to 8 hard disk drives (including external eSATA via USB port), and its storage capacity can be expanded up to 4Tb. For wider access to IP cameras, this 32ch NVR can handle mass storage and still continue with stable operation over long periods of time.
The VR6100-32 offers efficient image quality and supports simultaneous HDMI and VGA video output in HD resolution. In addition, it supports 32 channel (max) synchronous real-time live viewing and 16 channel synchronous real-time playback. It is equipped with I/O ports, including alarm input/output, two-way audio input, and RS485 ports. These terminals ensure that the NVR is an ideal fit for applications such as, public security, education, and commercial sites, for example, supermarkets or restaurants.
In working with existing video IP cameras from Hikvision, Dahua, and many other compatible brands, Varifo aims to bring users a pleasant experience when phasing in the VR6100-32 to transform their projects into reliable advanced IP surveillance systems with HD video quality.
Varifo will be exhibiting their range of products at Ifsec International (London, UK) on 16-18 June 2015.
