UAE GCAA hosted air law conference

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and McGill University hosted the International Conference & Workshop on Air Transport, Air Space Law and Regulation in Abu Dhabi from 12 - 16 April 2009.
The Workshop will introduced participants to the basic principles of air transportation, aviation & space law and regulation. It was designed to be useful to lawyers and students interested in the field, as well as to airline and airport managers and government officials.
The Conference was attended by professionals from civil aviation authorities and transport ministries, airlines, airports, air traffic services providers, aviation security providers as well as personnel of organizations directly involved in supporting the aviation business such as air cargo operators, insurers, risk managers, manufacturers, law and consulting firms, military personnel and international and regional organizations.
