UAE Civil Defense support FEME 2014

Abu Dhabi, U.A.E

Based on the requirements in the region, and the UAE in specific, the UAE Civil Defense is heavily supporting the new specialised event, Fire & Emergency Middle East (FEME), 1 - 3 April 2014, as a platform dedicated to providing the latest in the industry aimed at refining emergency strategies and acquiring state-of-the-art equipment for the region.
According to, Major Gen Rashid Al Matrooshi, Director General of UAE Civil Defence, in the past few years, the region has been experiencing a major shift in the number of residents and tourists. "This compelled our cities to expand and upgrade infrastructure; prompting many countries to evaluate their emergency plans, the ability and availability of people and the equipment required to ensure public safety. In the UAE alone, this has resulted in yearly requirements for firefighting vehicles, clothes and personal protection equipment; to name but a few."

UAE Civil Defence decision makers will be present during the 3 day FEME event, meeting with exhibitors and sourcing the latest technologies and solutions for the region's requirements.

In addition and in support of FEME, the newly introduced Preferred Partner Programme will offer exclusive benefits and privileges to exhibitors with over 100sqm stands when at the UAE Civil Defence facilities. Together with Occupational Safety and Health Middle East (OSHME), FEME is collocated with the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR), the region’s largest event- on homeland security at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
