Tyco group out to impress in Dubai

Heathrow, UK

Later this week Tyco Security Products will be presenting a full line of access control, intrusion and video surveillance solutions at Intersec, Dubai, held from the 15th-17th January at the Dubai International Convention Exhibition Centre.
Various companies within the Tyco security group will be exhibiting together. American Dynamics will be showing the Victor unified video management system version 4.1 This new product is designed to make it fast and easy for airports, universities, hospitals and other large sites to display, manage and prioritise video and events with its command centre. Victor 4.1 allows operators to easily manage hundreds of cameras across tens of monitors and control where event video will display. Victor’s “push” capability enables them to quickly and easily share critical video or event information from IP or analogue cameras with other security personnel, even if that person isn’t in the same building.

Victor v4.1 also makes it easier and faster to find events in weeks of recorded video. Smartsearch allows days or weeks of video to be searched in seconds. Once an event is identified, ‘Investigator Mode’ simplifies the process of finding video on related cameras, time-synchronising the view and exporting video from all related cameras using new, easy-to-use clip export and still image capture tools.

American Dynamics will also be demonstrating the latest addition to the Illustra series of IP cameras, the Illustra 600 (720p) and 610 (1080p) High Definition (HD) Mega-Pixel cameras, all designed to simplify installation and refine how security directors can take advantage of HD-quality video. The ability to remotely focus, zoom, name and configure the cameras enables integrators to simply mount and point the camera and then manage the rest of the installation from the security office. Three built-in mounting mechanisms, auto-focus, zoom and a compact form factor reduce the time and cost of installation. Superior, mega-pixel video is provided using the latest sensors and lenses and integrated H.264 compression.

The Illustra 600 cameras are compatible with Videoedge NVR, HDVR as well as being ONVIF compliant, providing customers with greater flexibility in being readily interoperable to their choice of recording platforms. The Illustra 600 comes in form factors including indoor mini-dome and rugged outdoor vandal resistant mini-domes.

Software House will be showing the enhanced feature-rich C-Cure 9000 enterprise access control system, scalable from a single site stand alone system to a multi-server distributed database security management architecture that provides local operation and reliability combined with global management and efficiency, no matter the system size. It is an ideal solution for any customer with multiple global locations that wants to consolidate and maximize the efficiency of their security operations.

Several significant enhancements to C-cure 9000 security and event management system offer new speed, functionality and scalability. By upgrading C-cure 9000 to Microsoft .NET Framework 4 security managers can expect the system to maintain its lightning fast processing of transactions during peak-volume times of the day. Features like escorted access and pre-defined security messages give security personnel more control over access points while improving responsiveness to emergency situations.
