Thai defence budgets increased

According to the organisers, substantial increases for Thailand’s defense and security agencies have heightened the importance of attending Thailand’s Defense & Security 2015 -  a special window of opportunity for manufacturers of Defense and Security equipment.

"For the coming year the Thai Ministry of Defense has been allocated a budget of 193,499.80billion Baht – an increase of 5.27% from 2014." says GML Exhibitions Ltd, organisers of the show due to take place in November 2015 in Bangkok.  "The Royal Thai Army will receive Bt 5,920 million – an increase of 4.81%, and the Royal Thai Navy has been allocated Bt 37,587 million– a rise of 4.73%.  The Royal Thai Air Force budget has been raised to 35,707 million Baht – an increase of 6.70% and the Royal Armed Forces, will receive Bt 14,812 million – a slight decrease of 0.34% from the previous year.  Additionally the Internal Security Operations Command is to receive 806 million Baht – an increase of almost 8% while the Royal Thai Police will get Bt 91,167 million– an increase of 5.80%."
