Teleeye representatives received the award during the HKSA Annual Dinner on 12 June 2014. Organised by HKSA, the Annual Security Awards 2013/14 were separated into four categories. Best Crime Preventive Product of the Year for Video Surveillance Product.

Entries were judged based on product innovation,uniqueness, potential applications and the benefits to users. Teleeye MX975-HD IR vari-focal IP camera met all the requirements and was eventually selected by a judging panel composed of all the Executive Committee Members who co-presented the prestigious awards.
