Surveon launches latest RAID NVR at ASIS 2011, USA

Surveon is continuing to strengthen its megapixel recording solutions range by showcasing the latest hardware RAID NVR solution, the SMR8000 Series, at ASIS 2011, being held in Orlando, USA this week.

Surveon’s hardware RAID SMR (smart megapixel recorder) Series offers advantages not usuall available on general PC-based NVRs or software RAID NAS NVRs. With many options available to users, including 2 to 116 disk drives and 6 to more than 500 channels for megapixel recording, the SMR Series provides installers with affordable yet powerful megapixel recording solutions.

The SMR8000 supports 32-channel megapixel cameras, hot-swappable disk drives and hardware RAID that ensures system performance and stability. In addition, all SMR products are based on VMS 2.4.5 and provide enterprise-level features such as real-time VI, multi-display, domain management, video bookmarking and smart search.

Surveon’s NVR2000 series will also be highlighted at ASIS 2011. Marketed as the only NVR solution available on the market today that features embedded hardware RAID controllers, the NVR2000 delivers 400+ Mbps read/write performance to help system integrators safeguard system stability and achieve seamless megapixel recording.
