Softlock signs Egypt smart token contract with ITIDA
Cairo, Egypt
The Information Technology Industry Development Agency ITIDA and Softlock signed a contract to fund the development of smart token for e-businesses. The agreement aims to develop a multi-usage smart token which can be used in e-signature and e-commerce applications. The research project will be finished after one year and then start the actual production of Egypt smart token.
The project will increase the competitive advantage of ICT Egyptian companies. Besides, it will create more Egyptian knowledgeable staff in digital security which has a direct impact on the level of national security.
