Siemens appoints new Senior VP of HR for Middle East

Eva Mouriño Bustillo, takes up her new post as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Siemens Middle East region.

Siemens has appointed Eva Mouriño Bustillo as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the company’s Middle East region.

In her new role, Mouriño will be responsible for defining and implementing HR strategies across the growing organisation, which employs around 8,000 people from more than 80 nationalities. She takes over from Harry Hollier, who retires from Siemens after more than 37 years with the company.

Commenting on the appointment, Dietmar Siersdorfer, CEO of Siemens Middle East and UAE, said: “I am delighted to welcome Eva to the team. The Middle East is a rapidly growing region for Siemens, and Eva’s international experience makes her the perfect person to ensure our diverse company continues to be viewed as an employer of choice for the best and brightest. Over the last 20 years Mouriño has gained professional experience across international organisations in Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She joins Siemens from RB Middle East, where she was responsible for the company’s people strategy for Europe, Russia, CIS and Australia. Prior to this, Mouriño held senior management positions at a series of multinational organisations including Astrazeneca, Alstom Power and ABB.

Mouriño holds degrees in Industrial and Electrical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Spain, and an Executive MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain.
