Record growth predicted for Intersec 2012, Dubai

According to the organisers, every indication points towards an even bigger and better Intersec 2012 than this year's edition just past.
This is already indicated by the Fire & Rescue section which will be more than double in space than previous years.

Global player Siemens has signed up to exhibit at Intersec 2012 as part of the dedicated Fire & Rescue section located in Halls 7 and 8. Siemens will showcase their latest products related to fire detection and prevention and will be amongst a wide array of other majors in the fire & rescue sector such as Naffco, Sffeco, Rapidrop, Dupont, Bristol, Underwriters Laboratories, Cooper, Al Arabia Safety & Security, Scott Health & Safety, Komtes, Teknoware, LPG, UAE Civil Defence, Bauer Kompressoren, LPCB, Akron Brass, Hochiki America, Kentec, Eurofunk, Apollo Fire, Firetrace, Fike, Mavili, Arasca Medical, Olympia Electronics, Sibca, FirePro and many more.

Homeland Security & Policing is one of the key sections of Intersec, and it has been extended for the 2012 show following the continued growth of the sector in the region. According to one of the local surveys, the UAE’s spending for homeland security products is currently marked at USD 5.5 bn, and it is forecasted to double in the next 10 years.

The Intersec show is due to take place from January 15th to 17th, 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is organised by the Messe Frankfurt team.
