Pro Technology to exhibit at Gitex 2007

Pro Technology is all set to make an impact at Gítex Technology week 2007 the 28th international information technology exhibition for United Arab Emirates which will be held from Sept. 8-12.


Pro Technology's focus this year will be on its latest offering of wireless technology (WiMAX & WiFI), security solutions, storage and backup systems, in addition to its line of Apple & HP products to serve the broadcasting and printing industry.

And for the first time, the company will be present in four different locations where dedicted Pro Technology stands will be built in Halls 4, 7, 8 & at GulfComm, in order to align product offering so as to cater to all market segments and with clear focus.

"We are eagerly awaiting the start of Gitex Technology week 2007 as this edition of the event promises to be bigger than all previous editions. The Middle East IT market is growing at a tremendous pace in the recent years, the significance of specialized trade shows such as Gitex amplified' says Jamal H. Maraqa, managing director, Pro Technology.

Pro technology has four independent divisions that provide unique products and solutions to respective industry segments from enterprise solutions division, business division, distribution division and retail division. The business division of Pro Technology, exhibiting in Hall 4 at stand no. E3-30, will display the latest products from Apple, HP, Freecom, Broadcasting systems, digital video and printing technology. The enterprise solutions division will have a dedicated stand at Gulfcomms in Zabeel hall at stand no. Z-E10, the wireless networking and communications department will be displaying the latest in Wi-Fi & WiMax systems. At Hall 7: C7-10, Pro Technology will be sharing a stand with Symantec to demonstrate the storage & back-up solutions and finally, a dedicated stand for the distribution department in Sheik Rashid Hall- to display the mobility products from DICOTA, iGO, Golla & Freecom.

"The IT boom and the surging computer penetration in the country have also meant that the demands for I.T. businesses like printers, servers, workstation & storage have risen correspondingly. Pro Technology is keen to capitalize on this market situation by focusing on latest technological innovations that are driving consumer buying patters in the Middle East as a whole and UAE in particular,' Mr Maraqa adds.
