The Pelco Exsite Enhanced HD camera

Pelco will be showcasing several of its latest solutions designed to address the challenges of vertical markets in the Middle East region at Intersec 2017 starting later this month.

From the company’s powerful open platform VMS control and integration platform to explosion-proof HD cameras and new advancements in IP megapixel imaging, visitors to the Pelco stand will find the specific solutions they need to secure their unique environments.

“Security professionals are challenged by today’s fast-changing security environment and they demand more intelligent solutions to meet each specific application need,” said Diane Feliciano, VP, Global Marketing, Pelco. “Whether the market is the Middle East or the densely populated municipalities across Europe or North America, Pelco offers technology innovations and application solutions that deliver higher levels of protection when and where customers need it most.”

Pelco’s Intersec 2017 display focuses on solutions for the oil and gas, city surveillance and hospitality vertical markets, and includes the Videoxpert video management software (VMS) that is designed to dramatically improve the control of integrated surveillance and security solutions on a single platform, providing users with greater situational awareness so they can make more timely decisions and execute decisive action. VideoXpert’s open architecture enables third-party applications to be cost-effectively integrated and recent enhancements include a unified user interface for improved centralised system management; incident management to easily and quickly correlate related video files; improved event management to customise event alerts with real-time visual notification; immersive viewing of 180°, 270° and 360° panoramic images from Pelco Optera Cameras.

The Sarix range of Enhanced IP cameras will also be at the show and combine low-light technology with effective bandwidth compression. Pelco’s exclusive Surevision 3.0 low-light technology makes these cameras ideal for hospitality and city surveillance, delivering quality images in as little as 0.05 lux with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) of 130dB. Pelco’s innovative Smart Compression Technology reduces bandwidth and storage requirements to improve system throughput and lower overall total cost of ownership.

Pelco will also be showcasing the Exsite Enhanced HD series cameras, which are explosion proof and virtually indestructible with performance features that include: a robotically welded housing for use in extreme conditions; a unique patent-pending pan-tilt drive system devoid of belts, gears or pulleys; operation in extreme temperatures; 30X optical zoom with image stabilisation; IR illumination; and 130dB WDR; 0.03 lux ultra-low light performance.  Exsite has been engineered as an effective imaging solution for oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, manufacturing and marine facilities, and for numerous other demanding environments.
