Norbain to offer Videx new IP door entry kits

Reading, Berkshire (UK)

Norbain is now offering customers the first ever range of IP door entry video kits from Videx. These kits have been introduced in response to growing market demands from installers and end users alike for door entry solutions that maximise the benefits of Internet Protocol compatibility.
These convenient kits allow homeowners and businesses to take advantage of IP technology for security and access control by using familiar ethernet points or WiFi to connect computers, tablets and other devices to servers and the internet. Once connected, these devices can be used to control door entry operations, offering convenience, flexibility and multi-user options.

Using the proven Videx 4000 Series door entry panel, the kits can include up to 64 call buttons and incorporate a colour camera, with IR illumination and a back lit name window. A wide angle (101° vertical, 170° horizontal) camera option is also available. A dedicated button calls the apartment videophone and provides two way full duplex speech and video communication.

These door entry panels are very robust and available in both flush and surface mounting options. Modular in design, they can be customised to include options such as coded access, proximity access, finger print access, additional buttons and information modules. The entrance panel requires a 12Vdc supply and CAT 5 network cable.
