At a recent trade event, Cartes 2014, in Paris, Civintec debuted the CN56X0B access reader along with the company's other solutions and reported that this new launch was one of the highlights at the show.

Optimised to make physical access more secure and smart, the CN56X0B access reader introduces multi-techniques to read & write Mifare, Desfire EV1, Mifare Plus and Sony Felica, and ISO18092 NFC for smart phone access solutions. The CN56X0B reader with 2 LEDs and buzzer is fully controlled by a network-enabled host PC through TCP/IP directly. Users can easily set an IP address to read cards/NFC mobile phones and then control doors remotely. 

The new solution creates comprehensive advantages in cost effectiveness, smart functions, and visible status at all times.  The solution supports unlimited users in the system, high access control security via AES 128bit encryption and NFC mobile phones,  as well as detailed access log reports (including who and when, which particular door, and who exactly is on site).  The solution, according to Civintec, has been proven to greatly reduce installation cost as the system can be effectively controlled with fewer controllers, and is managed centrally, plus with simple installation; all of these features will save time and costs in both system set up and operational management. Civintec Global can also offer an SDK kit with a robust API and TCP/IP communication protocol for software development and integration.

The NFC solution can be widely used in real-time access control applications, time attendance, personal identification, club management, cashless payment transactions,... and other similar applications.
