ControlPoint is a graphical user interface that allows users to monitor and manage any combination of analog and IP devices through a single digital video surveillance software application. DS ControlPoint V1.5 brings important benefits for DS and DX customers alike. "Wherever you are on the technology curve, Pelco has a solution for you," explains Myers.

"Now DX customers who want to migrate toward IP can control both their DX Series DVRs and Digital Sentry from one user interface," says Myers. "Conversely, Digital Sentry users can shift to a DX system and still have the benefit of one client interface." This new version of DS ControlPoint is compatible with DX4500, DX4600, DX8000 and DX8100 systems from Pelco.

Whether customers have DX or DS recording solutions, they can view and control all their systems through one intuitive, powerful interface with the choice of any Pelco IP camera or one of 60 third-party IP cameras that are compatible with DS ControlPoint.
