New government regulatory body to launch at Intersec

Intersec 2017, set to be held on January 22nd – 24th, 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE, will feature the exclusive public launch of the newly formed Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA).

The Security Industry Regulatory Agency is a government body which is concerned with the regulation of the security industry in Dubai. To be held on Tuesday – January 24, 2017, the forum will be a platform for industry leaders to discuss the new security law (12) 2016 related to the regulation of the security industry in Dubai.

The gathering will be addressed by Brig. Khalifa Ibrahim Saleis, Director General of SIRA who will provide an overview of the formation of SIRA and implementation of the new law.

Intersec 2017 will also feature International a series of conferences covering case studies, insights into new solutions including the Fire Safety Conference and the Critical Infrastructure and Cyber Security Conference which will be held alongside the exhibition.
