Mobotix seminar approved by RIBA

London, UK

The Mobotix seminar: "A Vision of Future Proof Digital CCTV" has been approved by the Royal Institute of British Architects for credits towards CPD requirements.
The seminar offers insight into elements of modern CCTV systems and covers topics including decentralised technologies, Power over Ethernet and UK Home Office guidelines on identification standards.

The seminar conforms to the CPD core curriculum for construction skills giving attendees a general understanding and awareness of CCTV and related network technologies to assist when specifying and choosing materials for construction projects.

The Royal Institute of British Architects champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. RIBA provide the standards, training, support and recognition that put its members – in the UK and overseas – at the peak of their profession. Mobotix has also joined the RIBA CPD Providers Network, a group of 500 members that offer architects and other construction professionals RIBA-assessed, high-quality CPD material.

“We are actively expanding our commitment to training the widest community of professionals involved in the specification and implementation of CCTV which is now fundamental in the design and refurbishment of all structures,” explains Trevor Holt, Specification Channel Manager, UK for Mobotix, “RIBA is a highly respected organisation and we believe our educational seminars offer its members a great insight into how CCTV can enhance security but also innovative technologies that improve reliability, reduce energy consumption and allow camera technology to become non-disruptive to the design process.”
