MIPS 2013 sees 21% exhibitor increase

The preliminary list of exhibitors at the Moscow International Protection, Security and Fire Safety (MIPS) Exhibition, due to take place in April next year, has now been released.
According to organisers, ITE Group, compared to the same period last year, the number of companies choosing to showcase their new developments at MIPS 2013 has increased by 14%, while the number of international companies preparing to exhibit at the show has increased by 21%.

Some of the confirmed leading international and domestic exhibiting companies include, companies such as Assa Abloy, Axis Communications, Flir Commercial Systems BV, JVC, Gielle, Grundig Security, HID Global, Honeywell Security Russia, ISS, ITV, Milestone, Nedap Security Management, Panasonic, Samsung Techwin, Siemens, Sony. National groups from the UK, Taiwan, China, and Canada have also confirmed their participation.

Ilya Sobolev, Head of Sales – Security Division, ITE Group Plc states: “Russia’s entry to the World Trade Organisation, as well as commitments to numerous high-profile sporting events (Sochi Olympics 2014 and FIFA World Cup 2018) means that the country is becoming a key investment territory for many international security and fire safety companies. MIPS is the leading industry exhibition in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe, attracting an increased number of exhibitors each year. Participation in the event has proven to be the most effective way of entering the Russian security and fire safety market, and a key platform to expose innovative products to high-quality visitors.”

Additionally, exhibitor roundtables and workshops will be held during the four days of the exhibition, enabling participants to explain and demonstrate their products to a specialised and targeted audience. These individual events provide additional exposure for exhibitors and encourage interaction with visitors.

To accommodate the growth of the event, MIPS 2013 will take place at a newly-constructed pavilion 75 at VVC - “All-Russian Exhibition Centre”. This modern exhibition centre is located 10 minutes’ walk from VDNKh metro station.
