Milestone Systems appoints new marketing manager

Copenhagen, Denmark

Milestone Systems, a leading global provider of open platform IP video management software, has announced a new marketing manager based out of headquarters in Denmark: Jens Taarnskov.

The latest injection of new talent at Milestone Systems comes from Jens Taarnskov, who started March 1st as marketing manager. His goals include streamlining the marketing procedures to support the organization's international expansions and increasing channel needs. This will involve providing even more services for partners and customers, along with strengthening the positioning of the Milestone brand.

"Milestone is on a phenomenal growth track - and that attracted me. Its success is building on great products, loyal partners and customers, and a group of professional employees who are very skilled and enthusiastic," says Jens Taarnskov, new marketing manager at Milestone Systems.

"We are delighted to get Jens Taarnskov to conduct our corporate marketing group. He is the right person to lead the next stages of our global marketing activities with more structured processes geared to achieve our strategies," states Lars Thinggaard, CEO at Milestone Systems.

Jens Taarnskov has a Bachelor of Business in sales and marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He previously worked in product marketing and business management at CSC, Scandinavian IT Group, Dansk Data Elektronik, Cray Communications, Eskofot, GN, and Radiometer. With his family of five children, he enjoys sailing and playing classical music.

"What's the difference between a symphony orchestra and a business workplace?" asks Taarnskov, a lifelong classical musician. "Not much! I see similarities in creating harmonies that build powerful impact through fine tuning the instruments and managing the players with a good overview."
