The complex designed by Jean Nouvel is composed of two towers of 49 and 43 storeys respectively, as well as 195 luxury apartments. A project such as Le Nouvel KLCC represents a big challenge. These type of constructions are under a very demanding public eye, which expects a high standard when it comes to construction elements. The Wingtai Malaysia team chose the solutions for the communication, security and comfort from Spanish company, Fermax, because of the design and quality of the products and the assistance provided by Fermax before, during and after the completion of the works, as well as the after-sales service.
The devices from Fermax that can be found in Le Nouvel KLCC, include the Lynx system. The Lynx brings life to the intercommunications of Le Nouvel KLCC. It is a standard protocol that can be integrated with other systems. Lynx has technologically based on a TCP/IP system, allowing for the management of an unlimited number of door entry systems, communication channels and data transfer. The system grants an easy integration of home automation solutions, access control, video surveillance services and more. It is based around an IP technology that transforms the door entry monitor into the technological heart in the home.
The installation of Le Nouvel KLCC incorporates video door entry systems including the Skyline digital panel and the Vivo monitor from Fermax, which are integrated with KNX home automation systems. Regarding the access control installation, the construction also includes Fermax biometric fingerprint readers in the apartments' access. Actually named as one of the best biometric access controls systems in 2016 according to the specialised magazine A&S International.
The Vivo monitor has been installed in this luxurious project. It is offered as one of the most advanced proposals for smart homes. Its 7 inch touchscreen allows to control the communication, security and comfort of the homes. Throughout the intuitive menu of Vivo, the residents of Le Nouvel KLCC manage a wide range of functionalities. The Vivo door entry monitor is also available with a 10 inch screen version, and is designed to be the perfect combination between technology, usability and exclusive design.
To complete the installation, Le Nouvel KLCC incorporates the Skyline panel, a versatile solution that is a modular outdoor panel range and can combine different functionalities, communication, information and access controls systems. Skyline is a practical solution for contemporary construction projects for residential and commercial use with a robust quality design.
Access to any single apartment is done via the Fermax biometric fingerprint reader, the Biokey, which is a flexible fingerprint reader to custom project, that can be adapted to the needs of almost any access control installation. This device is able to manage up to 4,500 users if a single fingerprint per person is required, and up to 2,970 users if the system saves 2 fingerprints per person.
Kuala Lumpur is the cultural and architectural centre of Malaysa. In this city, Fermax is present in several projects, such as the K- Residence , considered the first highest luxury building in Malasya.
