Kronos establishes presence in Middle East

Orlando, USA

In response to increasing global demand for workforce management solutions and to better serve its growing customer base, Kronos Incorporated has established distribution channels in the Middle East region.

Kronos now offers coverage across the Middle East, focusing on fast-growing Gulf States including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The region has a labor force of 14.5 million and is among the fastest-growing economies in the world.

"More formally providing our solutions in the Middle East is extremely important for Kronos," said Mick Adamson, Kronos vice president of international operations. "Establishment of our Middle East network of distribution partners is borne out of Kronos' desire to support the global workforce management needs of multinational organizations. It also provides us with local knowledge and support for new customer deployments in the region."

Kronos' presence in the Middle East provides local and regional businesses with effective management solutions for their workforce. Dubai-based construction giant Al Naboodah, with 43,300 employees across 40 locations, recently purchased a Kronos solution to automate time and attendance administration for its construction workers.

The primary distribution model Kronos uses in the Middle East is relationships with two of the region's most established and experienced software distributors: Bytes Technology Group and Security 1, which is a subsidiary of Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo B.S.C., a Kronos customer with 2,000 employees in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Kronos' Workforce Central suite of workforce management solutions will be officially introduced in the Middle East at the Human Assets Expansion Middle East conference, being held Nov. 16-17 in Dubai. Simon Macpherson, senior director of EMEA Business Development at Kronos, will co-present with Dr. Bijan Majidi, general manager of Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo, on "The Relevance of Technology in Workforce Management". The session will focus on several case studies about successful Kronos deployments in industries such as healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail.

Kronos made this announcement from KronosWorks, the industry's largest conference dedicated to exchanging ideas on how to effectively manage the workforce. KronosWorks is taking place this week in Orlando.
