Iscon signs M.E contract for sales of non intrusive body scanning solution
Woburn, Ma (USA)
Transporting weapons or contraband undetected will become much harder as this technology is deployed. It is currently undergoing testing at the United States Transportation Security Administration, T.S.A. which is responsible for passenger screening.
"We believe the Middle East region is a prime market for our Iscon 1000D whole body imaging portal since it can detect more concealed objects without radiation, or privacy issues and eliminates the need for pat-downs,” explains Iscon CEO and founder Izrail Gorian. “Our system can either be used as a replacement for existing technology or as an additional security layer, in airports, government facilities, prisons and even companies with valuable assets. It is easy-to-use and requires minimal training.”
The Iscon technology will be available in three configurations. Firstly, the whole body imaging portal - Model 1000D is a high-throughput, whole body scanner that detects all types of hidden objects. It is the only system that provides a 'one stop' personal identity and contraband check when integrated with ID and biometric technologies.
The second is the portable GamechangeIR, which is designed for a quick check of sensitive or special areas as well as a secondary screening device after metal detection.
And finally the mini-portal whole body imager is a high-resolution system, a perfect combination of the Iscon 1000D and hand-held device for locations with limited space and lower throughput requirements. It can complete a 360o whole body scan in 30 seconds and can be used to focus on suspicious areas.
