IDL Becomes RIBA CPD Member

Integrated Design has become a member of the 'RIBA CPD Providers Network'. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) CPD Providers Network is the major element in helping architects and others in the construction industry with their knowledge and expertise.

The course is designed to educate Architects, Facility Managers and Engineers in the product options available in entrance control. There are a wide range of products that offer a different balance of benefits dependant on the key criteria of a building's requirements. The course is intended to help them chose the most suitable option to secure the project they are working on.
CPD (Continual Professional Development) courses are designed to offer impartial advice to the specifiers market and as such course content is carefully assessed by RIBA to ensure its impartiality and that it maintains, enhances and increases the knowledge and skills of the professional.
RIBA members are required to complete 35 hours of CPD each year, points are awarded for the relevance of the CPD for that individual. RIBA approved material is awarded a double weighting of points making them more beneficial to the individual.
"We see it as vitally important that architects design in security to a building at the early stages of a project. To successfully do this the architect needs to understand the options available as well as their unique benefits. This CPD course gives and excellent understanding of the choices available in Entrance control whilst also touching upon access control and ID devices more generally. I hope this course will help the specifiers to chose the right product for the right project." said Michael Bystram Sales Director IDL.
