The Hiqview HIQ-6387 is a 2 megapixel outdoor weather-proof bullet-type IP camera. It is equipped with a 1/2.7" 2 megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensitisation component able to perform with all-IP architecture. A web server built into the camera in open platform format provides remote users with real time video through an internet browser.  The WDR function is capable of providing clear images even under strong back light conditions. In addition with the DNR technique, the HIQ-6387 performs to effectively remove noise that usually appears in low light circumstances, producing high clarity images.

The images captured are compressed into three formats: H.264/ MJPEG for multiple resolution options in 1920x1080(full HD), 1280x720 (HD), 640x480(VGA), 320x240(QVGA), and 176x144(QCIF) modes. It is possible for the users to choose a suitable streaming format based on the different bandwidth resources available. And still, the HIQ-6383 is capable of outputting excellent real time images (1080p at 30fps).

With an external vari-focal lens 3~10.5mm F1.4, the HIQ-6387 is in an exclusive-patent design that provides users with the feature of fast and easy installation. The 35 built-in IR LEDs allow for illumination to reach a radiation of 25 metres.  The IR cut filter makes for crystal clear image reproduction under all kinds of light sources-no matter whether during the day time or at night.

The design of the aluminum housing is compliant with IP66 standards against water and dust ingress in outdoor environments.

The network configuration of the camera has been designed to be easy and hassle-free. The HIQ-6387 IP camera can be located, if connected to the internet, with the aid of the installation tool provided. An analogue video output is included, making it possible to connect the IP camera directly to an analogue monitor at the local site. The HIQ-6387 is also designed to support 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) for ease of installation as no additional power lines are needed in this case. Consequently, the result is a total power line cost reduction in medium to large sized system deployments.

The HIQ-6387 is made ideally for open environment installations outdoors where it is important that the sites are with surveillance facilities both day and night, 24/7. This bullet-type IP camera has a rich set of surveillance functions including alarm, SD card local storage, and 2 way audio. The GUI design is based on a user-friendly principle. The open platform, built-in web server provides remote users with real time video through an internet browser. In addition, a free-bundled NVR software is provided with the HIQ-6387 which offers the user the possibility to create their own video surveillance and management system from their own PC.
