To enhance the security and field management, the EGAT requires a fire alarm system to protect its equipment valued at billions within the power plant. After a strict investigation and evaluation process, it was decided that the GKB VFDS would be the technology to fulfill their requirements, as it features VID technology to detect and verify flames and smoke and it is able to conquer the limitations of many traditional fire detection systems.  

The VFDS solution can intelligently analyse video to verify flames and smoke, thereby providing efficient detection and verification, and making this technology more effective than some other typical fire detection devices on the market today. The system helps to provide an alert at the early-stage of fire and smoke detection with visual verification which saves time to reconfirm, and, allows for time to take prompt management decisions should an emergency situation occur.

The GKB VFDS solution features easy system installation, operation, and maintenance for both system integrators and end-users.
