First time for Wavestore at Intersec 2011, Dubai

London, UK

"Wavestore has achieved considerable success in the Middle East over recent years and particularly so during the last twelve months," said Chris Williams, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Wavestore. "The timing of Intersec 2011 could not therefore be better as it will provide us with a great opportunity to give demonstrations of our very latest CCTV and IP network based products to a fast growing list of business partners in the region."
Visitors to Wavestore’s stand at Intersec will be amongst the first to see an innovative solution for ‘dewarping’ images from 360 degree security cameras. Until now 360 degree cameras have had to be operated by using the respective camera manufacturer’s software. This has restricted the customer’s ability to integrate 360 degree cameras as part of a system which might include traditional CCTV cameras. The introduction of Wavestore’s dewarping software means that 360 degree security cameras can now be integrated into an existing system with the dewarped images captured by the camera’s fish-eye lens simultaneously recorded and displayed alongside images from other analogue and network security cameras.

Wavestore will also be demonstrating a wide range of professional video recording solutions, including the technology that supports its high performance 64 channel Granite DVR; which offers a choice of H.264, M-JPEG, MPEG-4 and MxPEG (Mobotix) compression to record and store video from a combination of analogue, IP, megapixel and HD security cameras.

The Revader HD PTZ camera system from Wavestore’s sister company, H.264 Ltd will also be on show at the exhibition. Part of the re-deployable Revader Totem Pole range, this highly impressive camera system is supplied with an integrated video recorder and optional alarm inputs and audio power amplifier. Built-in intelligence triggers the security cameras to automatically pan to an area of activity and track any movement whilst recording high quality images.
