Throughout this event, Fermax wanted to reassert two important ambitions: first to continue with the sponsoring of sports events, a practice that the Spanish Intercom manufacturer has been doing for many years now, and secondly to reinforce the brand’s commitment to the Middle East area.

The firm has been established in the Middle East for decades now, being recognised there as one of the leading door-entry intercoms manufacturer of the world. The area is strategic for the company where its sales have been increasing for many years and where an ambitious development plan has been set up to ensure a growth for the next years, since the potential of some countries such as the Saudi Arabian Kingdom is substantial.

The Fermax team, headed by the Regional Manager of Middle East, Mr. Jehangir Postwalla, shared a lot of moments with the Saudi team during the tournament, supporting and accompanying them in this adventure. Not only is it noteworthy the remarkable talent of these young future football stars but also the human qualities of the whole team, both players and staff.

Even the organising committee of the COTIF 2012 wanted to point out the exemplary behaviour of the Saudi Arabian Team by awarding them the prize of the best fair-play team of the tournament. “The committee wants to unanimously congratulate the Saudi Team for their wonderful behaviour, both in and out of the grounds”, said the Cotif President, Mr. Gomez Tormos.
