Entrapass brings multiple live views through a single interface

Reading, Berkshire (UK)

Norbain is now offering the Kantech Entrapass from Tyco Security Products with integration for video.
Entrapass is a robust suite of high performance software that allows customers to design and operate any number of doors where card access is required. Users can manage one building or access multiple remote sites from a network – securely, quickly and efficiently.

The software offers a total security solution which greatly enhances security by providing a link between access, intrusion and video events. This gives a full spectrum of control, monitoring, response and evidence documentation. The integration allows for the software to be used seamlessly with all American Dynamics video products including Intellex, ADTVR, HDVR and Videoedge.

“EntraPass represents great value for money offering features such as full event integration, video triggered recordings and video archiving with Kantech video vault,” explains Gareth Ellams, Divisional Director - Access Control & Intruder at Norbain. “It is completely scalable, offering flexible operation that can be configured to each user’s specific needs.”

“The benefits of video integration are numerous,” comments Phil Dashey, general manager and vice president of Tyco Security Products. “The new edition of Entrapass allows users to bring multiple live views through a single interface. This allows an operator to monitor an alarm or access control event and have it coincide with a live video shot. This can also be embedded into a map or floorplan so an operator can instantly bring up a live shot of any incident taking place.”
