New Digiever firmware release

Taipei, Taiwan

Digiever Corporation has recently released the latest firmware 2.1.0.52 with new advanced features, flexible configuration setting and security enhancement. The new firmware 2.1.0.52 not only focuses on operation optimisation as previous firmware but also provides value and advanced features such as e-map, smart search and remote backup to create a more comprehensive IP video surveillance solution. Each of these features is designed to greatly elevate the surveillance experience to efficiently guard the given area.

The first of the new advanced features is the dynamic e-map; this function on remote liveview monitoring is a quick navigation tool for users to indicate the physical location of cameras. Users can expand multi-layer maps in different perspectives and deploy cameras on the maps. When an event is triggered, a window will pop up to notify the user and display a real-time liveview situation; therefore, users can quickly locate an event site and take appropriate actions to minimize event loss and damage.

To efficiently save precious user time, Digiever has created a smart search feature on playback to help users quickly find key video with five detection modes, including motion detection, foreign object detection, camera tamper detection, loss of focus and missing object detection. After discovering the required excerpt of video, users can quickly playback that video by double-clicking on it.

To ensure the security of confidential videos, the new remote backup feature allows users to back up vital recorded videos from the Digiever NVR to NAS for long term storage. Depending on surveillance requirements, users can freely set up the backup setting in days, video time and recording type to save important recorded videos in another storage device for a longer time.

After the new launch of firmware 2.1.0.52, Digiever NVR can now support up to 14 types of action to inform users at the very first instant and to minimize the damage when an event is triggered.

In addition to the above mentioned powerful features, the Digiever NVR is thought to be the first NVR in the world supporting up to 6Tb per single HDD for a long-term video storage solution.

The Digiever NVR has also successfully integrated with over 90 IP camera brands and more than 3,000 models to satisfy user requirements in various vertical markets such as government, bank, education, etc. Existing Digiever NVR users are able to upgrade to the latest firmware 2.1.0.52 to experience and explore new advanced features now.
