Dahua launches new generation NVR, N7-Series

Hangzhou, China

Dahua Technology, one of the world-leading manufacturers and suppliers of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China, has introduced the NVR N7-series (NVR7000 series with 8/16/32/64-ch available), which is based on an upgraded platform, bringing enhanced functionality with optimised interfaces.
With a new-generation chipset, this series supports up to 256Mbps input bandwidth and 192Mbps for recording; which means it could maximum support 32 channels @1080p real-time recording and transmission.

In addition, the NVR N7-series adds several new functions such as local IPC upgrade and also optimises motion detection. Speaking of which, it provides four colors for zone setting and two adjustable dimensions (“sensitivity” & “threshold”) in order to better categorise surveillance objects. For example, draw a box of 4x4 in red and set its threshold value at 50, then the alarm will be triggered when the red box is half occupied.

Meanwhile, it has some new functions such as network testing and sniffer, which makes the maintenance even easier; IPC firmware and mac information could also been looked up here to save the bother.

Dahua NVR N7-series is ideal for entry-to-middle level applications, where great performance at an attractive price is required. It has multiple models for selection, including standard versions as well as ones with PoE ports, which makes the installation and operation more convenient. The models with PoE ports are equipped with a single power supply, lowering the cost thus making the price more preferable.

“We are pleased to introduce this enhanced N7-series,” said Ice Wu, Product Director of the Storage Line at Dahua Technology. “The N7-series inherits the previous N6 strong performance plus we do believe that the N7-series will bring more benefits to our customers.”
