Dahua launches AI driven distributed face recognition server

Hangzhou, China

Model: DHI-IVS-F7500-P

Dahua Technology unveils its AI driven distributed face recognition server DHI-IVS-F7500-P, which is mainly for city-class scene or project applications, such as safe cities, security management of main traffic thoroughfares or plazas, and business analysis for chain supermarkets, etc.

As a mass data platform for face management, the Dahua face recognition server DHI-IVS-F7500-P is able to analyse image streams as structural data, and store them in a distributed database. Also, with the effective image comparison search engine technology, it even supports, so called, fuzzy search of mass human face data and provides results within seconds.

The system is designed for highly efficient face detection and recognition. Supported by the integrated, high performing GPU P4 module and Dahua’s advanced deep learning algorithms, the distributed face recognition server DHI-IVS-F7500-P can detect a human face with an accuracy of above 90%, according to Dahua, along with detailed face features such as age, gender, expression and glasses which help identify subtle individual differences. It also supports multiple-persons image search and orders them by similarity according to the time and location information, providing a convenient way to retrieve.

The powered comparisons function with a proactive alarm. After collecting the face data, Dahua’s face recognition server DHI-IVS-F7500-P also provides both dynamic and static image comparisons. Dynamic comparison supports real-time 100-channel picture stream (about 8.5 million pictures processing) and 300,000 face control comparisons, while static comparison supports a 30 million picture comparison. Once the previously defined face has been found in the enrolled database, it will immediately send a notification or alarm.

There is a flexible and comprehensive Register Library to better support face comparisons.  The new face recognition server improves storage capacity to a maximum of 300,000 human face pictures of its enrolled database for a wanted persons alert. In addition, you can add, delete, modify and query the personal information in the registered library if it is necessary to change somethin, and it also allows for batching import/exports of the pictures and compressed files from the library.

By identifying known criminals or prior offenders through accurate face detection and comparison, Dahua face recognition server DHI-IVS-F7500-P has been designed to offer proactive protection to build a safer social environment before an incident occurs.
