Tanishq is a prominent jewellery brand in India. It offers traditional as well as trendy designs in gold, diamond and platinum jewellery and ornaments. Last year Tanishq expanded its business to Nagpur, the so called green city in India. Tanishq officials decided to adopt Dahua analogue cameras (DH-CA-FW450D) for surveillance in its showroom.

The Dahua FW450D is a 520TVL waterproof IR camera, which incorporates a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD II and supports a maximum IR distance of up pto 50 metres. The physical design is also interesting, as instead of conventional IR lamps composed of multiple IR LEDs, the FW450D is designed with a single IR lamp which also extends the IR lamp’s lifespan.

These analogue cameras are designed through in-house technology to achieve impressive image quality and the range is comprised of selectable camera shapes and sizes. According to Dahua the market has had a huge reaction to this series due to its outstanding cost-performance ratio. As a total solution provider, Dahua also offers a full range of DVRs and practical surveillance opertating software, such as the PSS (for small-size application) and the DMSS (phone surveillance), which allow ease of viewing and control.
